Comcast to Open Two Centers in Colo.

Comcast said it will open two new customer-service call centers in Denver and Colorado Springs and create more than 500 jobs.

The MSO already has 4,000 employees in Colorado serving more than 800,000 customers statewide.

The operator said the new hires will handle both residential and business subscribers and help it to keep pace with growing demand for high-speed-data, digital-cable and telephony services.

“Comcast's first priority has always been customers and, by hiring local talent to serve local communities, we ensure that our customers are supported by employees who understand the local market's dynamics and can meet each customer's unique needs," Comcast of Colorado senior vice president and general manager Scott Binder said in a prepared statement.
