Comcast Recruits Time Warner Cable Executive

Comcast said it hired former Time Warner Cable executive Jennifer Yohe Wagner, naming her vice president of strategic business procurement.

The cable TV operator said Yohe Wagner will spearhead many of its negotiations with technology vendors, reporting to Peter Kiriacoulacos, senior vice president and chief procurement officer.

Yohe Wagner previously worked for nine years at Time Warner Cable, most recently as vice president of business affairs. Earlier, she worked for Jack Kent Cooke Incorporated, where her responsibilities included work on the company’s real estate holdings and the Washington Redskins.

Yohe Wagner attended the University of Pittsburgh and Cambria Rowe Business College. She is a member of Women in Cable and Telecommunications and is a graduate of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute. She’s also a member of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers.

“We are very excited to have Jennifer join Comcast Cable’s procurement team,” Kiriacoulacos said in Monday’s announcement. “Her over 20 years of business experience and in-depth knowledge of the cable industry, as well as her exceptional negotiation skills, will be instrumental in serving Comcast’s financial and business needs.”
