Comcast Corp. is teaming up with Colorado chapters of the American Red Cross on a disaster-preparation initiative.
The Red Cross and the operator will deliver 400 disaster kits to low-income families at Mile High Child Care Centers Wednesday.
"The family disaster kit contains a first-aid kit, flashlight, dust mask, wrench, gloves and many other items that are indispensable when disasters strike," said Ed Taylor, director of disaster preparedness for the Red Cross’ Mile High Chapter, in a prepared statement.
