Comcast Corp. is switching its video-on-demand-content source from
Intertainer Inc. to In Demand L.L.C. in five markets, following Intertainer's
Oct. 23 shutdown.
A Comcast spokesman said two of the five markets -- Lower Merion and Willow
Grove, Pa. -- had switched from Intertainer to In Demand a while ago to align
with the larger, neighboring Philadelphia system, which plans to launch VOD next
The others -- Ocean/Monmouth, Union and Cherry, Hill, N.J. -- are replacing
Intertainer with In Demand this week.
