Comcast Cable Communications Inc. is raising the high-speed-content stakes,
announcing two deals for gaming-related services with RealNetworks Inc. and IGN
Entertainment Inc. that will be available to Comcast high-speed subscribers.

Comcast has licensed RNI's "Real Arcade" service, which will be branded
"Comcast Arcade" for Comcast subscribers. The service will feature 130 PC games
that consumers can download and play on their desktops -- primarily board,
strategy, puzzle and card games.

IGN will offer subscribers gaming news, reviews and previews, as well as
games.

In both cases, certain games can be played free-of-charge, while other games
and service levels will require subscriptions.

'As we develop the games section of www.comcast.net, our goal is to become a
premiere destination for games, games news and information," Comcast vice
president of marketing and business development Greg Butz said in a prepared
statement.
