On Comcast’s Fast Track

Marge Jackson, 37

Comcast Cable N.J. Region

Marge Jackson joined Comcast in 1998, and her career has been on the fast track ever since.

Jackson joined the operator as an online direct sales representative and then was promoted to lead the team as a direct sales manager. Shortly thereafter, she was promoted to basic product manager for Prince George’s County, MD and then in 2001 she went on to become director of marketing for the newly acquired AT&T system of Washington, D.C.

Most recently, Jackson was senior director of marketing for Northern New Jersey. Now, she is regional vice president of marketing and sales for the entire New Jersey region.

Among other successes, Jackson recently launched Comcast Digital Voice and Triple Play campaigns in highly competitive regions.

Jackson’s rapid ascent is a reflection of Comcast’s corporate culture. “Comcast’s commitment to leadership development coupled with ample growth opportunities have allowed me to rapidly advance from a sales representative to a regional vice president in less than eight years,” she said.

Jackson was selected for the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communication’s Executive Leadership Development Program at UCLA. She is also a 2005 graduate of the Comcast Executive Leadership program.
