Comcast Says Yes to SiTV


SíTV -- an English-language Latino network featuring programming targeting the growing young Latino and multicultural TV audience -- has inked a carriage pact with Comcast Corp.

The deal, terms of which were not disclosed, was announced by Comcast executive vice president David Cohen at Wednesday’s meeting of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus.

SiTV -- which is slated to launch Feb. 25 -- has also inked distribution deals with Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications Inc. and EchoStar Communications Corp.’s Dish Network.
