Comcast Corp. will serve as one of the top sponsors for the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute’s “Hispanic Heritage Month Inaugural Gala.”
The event -- which celebrates Hispanic leadership and achievements during Hispanic Heritage Month -- will be held Wednesday at the Hilton in Washington, D.C.
The MSO said it will also contribute airtime and production resources valued at more than $100,000 to help raise awareness of CHLI's activities and mission.
“We are delighted to partner with the CHLI and support their mission of advocating the diversity of heritage, views and thoughts of Americans of Hispanic and Portuguese descent," Comcast executive vice president David L. Cohen said in a prepared statement.
“We are supporting CHLI as part of our desire to maximize the diversity of our work force, the content we deliver, our business relationships and our community investments,” he added.
