Comcast SportNet Chicago To Present Blackhawks Parade Coverage


Comcast SportsNet Chicago on Friday will cover the parade celebrating the Chicago Blackhawks first Stanley Cup championships since 1961.
The regional sports network, the television home to the club, will present Chicago Blackhawks: 2010 Championship Parade & Rally at 10 a.m. (CT)
CSN Chicago's scheduled 2.5 hour-plus live championship celebration coverage is presented by Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Chevy Dealers. In addition, Comcast SportsNet's newly enhanced Web site,, will provide a live video stream of the entire parade and rally. The RSN will encore the parade/rally at 7 p.m. on Friday night.
Comcast SportsNet's three hours of live coverage of the Stanley Cup championship-clinching celebration on June 9 (10:08 PM - 1:00 AM) on Smirnoff Vodka Blackhawks Post Game Live made it the second-highest rated station in the Chicago DMA among men 25 to 54 and third overall with adults 25 to 54, according to network officials. From midnight to 1 a.m. on June 10, CSN Chicago was the top-rated station in the market among guys 25 to 54 and second with adults 25 to 54.
Throughout the entire Blackhawks 2010 Stanley Cup Playoffs run, Smirnoff Vodka Blackhawks Post Game Live (22 total shows) tallied with more than 1.4 million Chicago TV homes.
