Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia has bought a big-time sports blog following athletic action in the City of Brotherly.
The regional sports network has acquired, the most-trafficked Philadelphia sports blog, which typically attracts 100,000 unique visitors per month and typically generates monthly 500,000 page views. The blog began in January 2004
Deal terms were not disclosed.
The site will maintain its own URL and editorial independence, while content from the blog will also be available on other parts of
Enrico Campitelli Jr., who founded the blog in January 2004, and its three other regular contributors will continue to contribute to the site and have new opportunities to contribute elsewhere to
Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia officials said will benefit from improved technology, infrastructure and resources to manage, update and populate the site, as well as better access to local teams, players, and other sports information.
