The Sportsman Channel announced recent launches on several Comcast, Time Warner Cable and Cox Communications systems.
Comcast added the hunting and fishing channel to its Digital Sports Package lineups in Salt Lake City; Gadsden, Ala.; and Tallahassee, Fla.
The network was also added to Time Warner’s Digital Sports Package in San Antonio.
And The Sportsman Channel is now part of Cox’s Digital Sports & Information Package in New Orleans.
“We’re pleased that Comcast, Time Warner and Cox recognize the need for The Sportsman Channel and its dedication to the 47 million hunters and anglers in the United States,” The Sportsman Channel CEO C. Michael Cooley said in a prepared statement. “During a time when some networks are moving away from the genre of hunting and fishing, it’s imperative that we provide quality programming to serious sportsmen.”
