Concurrent Completes Everstream Acquisition

Concurrent Computer Corp. said Wednesday that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of Everstream Holdings Inc.

Concurrent said it will operate Everstream as an independent, wholly owned subsidiary and will continue operations in Everstream's facilities in Solon, Ohio.

The video-on-demand systems provider had already been an investor in Everstream when it announced its intentions in August to buy the company for $15 million.

In the cable space, Everstream’s software analyzes operations and performance data for digital set-tops. Its “S4 DataSuite” allows for enterprisewide collection of data from hundreds of devices, servers and systems.

“We believe Everstream's products are already an important part of many North American VOD cable systems' metrics, and we plan to extend the reach to include international, IPTV [Internet-protocol TV] and satellite markets,” Concurrent CEO Gary Trimm said in a prepared statement.
