Concurrent Lands Charter Deal

Concurrent Computer Corp. has broken through at Charter Communications
Inc.

The video-on-demand-server provider said Charter will deploy Concurrent
devices in 'several markets' this year.

Charter had used Diva Systems Corp. gear exclusively over the past two years.
Diva's other contracts are with Insight Communications Co. Inc. and AT&T
Broadband.

Charter said it will be able to integrate Concurrent with its current
infrastructure.

'With the demand for interactive VOD services expanding at a rapid pace, the
need for multiple suppliers of VOD technology is increasing,' Charter executive
vice president and chief technical officer Stephen Silva said in a prepared
statement.

Separately, Trinity Broadcasting Network said it's offering part of its
programming library to cable operators for free on-demand packages.

Among the content TBN will make available is movie The Omega Code.

TBN hopes the free on-demand content will help to drive digital subscriptions
and interest in its two digital channels, The Church Channel and
TBN/Enlace.
