Concurrent Numbers Improve Sequentially

Concurrent Computer Corp. posted a net loss of $1 million on revenue of $20.6 million in its third fiscal quarter ending March 31, slightly better numbers than its second-quarter $1.6 million net loss on revenue of $18.9 million.

Concurrent said its on-demand division produced a sequential revenue increase from $9.8 million to $11.6 million.

But results were mixed compared with year-ago numbers. In last year’s fiscal third quarter, Concurrent posted an operating loss of $173,000 on revenue of $19.8 million.

“The on-demand market is improving,” CEO Gary Trimm said, citing recent “Start Over” wins with Time Warner Cable.
