Concurrent announced Central Data Warehouse, data storage software designed to aggregate and analyze linear TV, video-on-demand, and interactive media usage metrics.
CDW will be commercially available this month for VOD services, and will add support and integrate linear and interactive data by the end of the year, Concurrent said. Mobile and online data support will be available in the first half of 2010.
"With CDW, operators can leverage their real-time, census-level data to deliver accurate reporting to their valued stakeholders, who in turn can make informed decisions regarding content consumption and advertising effectiveness across multiple services and screens," said Paul Haddad, vice president and general manager of Concurrent's Media Data and Advertising Solutions unit.
Concurrent customers can upgrade their Media Data and Advertising Solutions data platforms to add the data warehouse capability, which the company said can exchange with third-party systems.
Concurrent in May retired its Everstream brand, renaming that business Media Data and Advertising Solutions. Earlier this year, the vendor outlined a strategy to deliver video across TVs, PCs and mobile devices, as well as provide viewer-measurement products across those platforms.
