Concurrent Computer Corp. lowered its net loss to a virtual breakeven in its third quarter ending March 31, despite flat revenue year-over-year.
The company posted a net loss of $177,000 on revenue of $19.8 million, compared with a net loss of $1.4 million on $20 million in revenue in the year-earlier period. Sequentially, revenue dropped from the second quarter's $23.6 million.
CEO Gary Trimm said video-on-demand revenue "fell short of expectations" because key orders didn't ship in the quarter. VOD revenue dropped from $10.5 million last year to $9.3 million this year.
Trimm added that he expects those orders to ship in the current quarter.
