Controversial Flicks Find Home on Sundance

Robert Greenwald has been in the news for his new Fox News Channel-ripping documentary, Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism.

Two of his earlier efforts -- Uncovered: The Whole Truth About the Iraq War and Unprecedented: The 2000 Presidential Election -- will air on Sundance Channel Monday, Sept. 6, as part of the network’s “DOCday” programming block, Sundance said Wednesday.

Uncovered, which debuted in 2003, examined the Bush administration’s conduct in convincing the American people that former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein posed a threat to national security.

And 2002’s Unprecedented scrutinized the electoral fiasco in the state of Florida during the 2000 presidential election.

Uncovered will air at 9 p.m. (EST/PST) Sept. 6, followed by Unprecedented at 10 p.m.
