Convergys Corp. said cable operators will find new enhancements and increased
flexibility in the 'Wizard 7.6' release of its subscriber-management and billing
system.
Convergys said the new software enhances capabilities for managing and
tracking equipment associations and location identifiers, and it provides
greater flexibility in defining bill-time discounts based on specific customer
data and retroactive billing.
The company said the software release also includes new
customer-relation-management features that allow customer-service
representatives to capture and use key customer contact information more
efficiently.
The software will also help operators to manage advanced set-top boxes and
multimedia-terminal adapters.
