Cossack Joins Court TV

Court TV said Monday its newest anchor is former Cable News Network legal
analyst Roger Cossack.

A former co-host of CNN's Burden of Proof, Cossack lost his position
during a round of layoffs last month at CNN. The former Los Angeles County
prosecutor will host Monday's run of Court TV's weekday Open Court
program, and fill in regularly on other Court TV programs, spokeswoman Ellie
Jostad said. The network said Cossack would work as an anchor during daytime
live trial coverage.

He'll start some time within the next month, she added.

Cossack gained prominence as a television legal pundit in 1994, during CNN's
coverage of the O.J. Simpson murder trial. His former Burden co-host,
Greta Van Susteren, recently jumped to Fox News Channel.
