As the Michael Jackson winds down, Court TV is gearing up.
The network said Friday that it will pre-empt primetime programming when a verdict is reached in the pop singer’s child-molestation trial.
Court TV said that as soon as the jury reaches a decision, it will launch its Michael Jackson: The Verdict special coverage, which will continue until 10 p.m. (EST) that day.
Investigative editor Diane Dimond and correspondent Savannah Guthrie will appear live from the courthouse in Santa Maria, Calif., in addition to commentary from Court TV anchors, reporters and guests. Then a special one-hour edition of Nancy Grace Live will air from 9 p.m.-10 p.m.
Court TV’s Web site (www.courttv.com) will also provide up-to-date coverage of the trial.
