Court TV Engages in ‘Pursuit’
Court TV said Monday that it has launched its “In Pursuit of Justice” multiplatform public-service initiative.
The effort -- which will combine original on-air specials, public-affairs programs, civic partnerships and educational resources -- is aimed at nurturing debate and raising awareness of important judicial and social issues.
Among issues Court TV intends to explore: capital punishment, wrongful incarceration, mandatory minimum-sentencing laws, unsupervised police interrogations of juvenile suspects and political asylum.
Upcoming programming related to the initiative includes Stories of the Innocence Project: What's in a Name?, RFK: A Question of Justice, Home of the Brave, Al Roker Investigates and The Investigators: Wrong Man.
