Court TV Goes Hip-Hop


Court TV made several programming announcements Monday, including one about a documentary with hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons.

The network will present one-hour documentary special Russell Simmons Presents: Hip Hop Justice Oct. 6 at 10 p.m. (EST/PST).

Hip Hop Justice will investigate the link between hip-hop superstars and law enforcement.

The network also detailed another documentary telling the story of Katie Tarbox, a young girl who was attacked by a 41-year-old sexual predator she met in an online teen chat room.

Al Roker Investigates: premieres Wednesday, July 28 at 10 p.m. (EST/PST).

And Court TV said it will air a Forensic Files marathon Sunday, Aug. 29, wrapping up with episode No. 200 of the series at 10:30 p.m.
