Looking to raise the profile of its daytime legal-system coverage, Court TV was scheduled to launch a Web log Monday featuring continuous text and video postings from its anchors and correspondents.
On Inside Court TV, accessible via the Court TV News site, anchors Nancy Grace, Catherine Crier, Ashleigh Banfield, Lisa Bloom, Jami Floyd, Jack Ford and Vinnie Politan, as well as correspondents and editorial and production staffers, will present their opinions, observations and thoughts about the justice system, current events, hot-button issues and the latest criminal trials and legal news enveloping pop culture. Embedded video will complement some of the text postings.
“Court TV News has a treasure trove of talented, passionate, informed and opinionated anchors and staff members with a tremendous knowledge of the legal system,” Court TV News executive vice president Marlene Dann said in a prepared statement. “This is their platform on which to share their perspectives on a host of issues and give an insider’s view into their daily lives.”
