The premieres of two new series helped to propel Court TV to its most-watched night of original programming ever March 18, the network said Monday.
The debut of Body of Evidence earned a 1.5 Nielsen Media Research household rating, as well as a 0.5 for adults 18-49, from 9:30 p.m.-10 p.m.
It was followed by the debut of The System from 10 p.m.-11 p.m., which drew a 1.4 household rating and a 0.5 18-49 mark.
Court TV posted an overall 1.3 household rating for the night, or 1.064 million viewing homes.
The network’s previous best performance with originals came Dec .27, 2002, when it averaged 1.013 million viewers with an evening full of Forensic Files, Court TV officials said.
