Court TV’s Ratings Shocking

The most recent installment of Court TV original series Most Shocking delivered the most households ever for the network in the 8 p.m.-9 p.m. hour on Wednesdays.

The episode, entitled “Stopped by the Law,” recorded 1.18 million household impressions Nov. 8. Among that group were some 727,000 adults 18-49, with that total ranking second in the time period for all of basic cable that night among that advertiser-coveted demo, according to network officials.

Focusing on some of the most outrageous crimes ever caught on video, Most Shocking has scored well for Court’s R.E.D. action block, averaging 1.37 million viewers and 632,000 adult 18-49 watchers during its first six premiere installments.

For its first-season run, Court ordered 13 episodes of the series, which is hosted by Bruce Nash.
