The companies reported that the promotion, which ran May 1-June 30, resulted
in orders that were "nearly 700% higher than any previous online network
Cox systems ran on-air promotions touting the merits of high-speed Internet
service and driving viewers to the www.cox.com
site to play the "Lizzie McGuire Pop Star" karaoke activity.
Those consumers who signed up online for high-speed service got digital
cameras branded with Disney Channel's Lizzie McGuire.
Last year, the Cox-ABC Cable campaign used a "Dancing Lizzie" online game to
generate more than 51,000 visitor sessions during that monthlong promotion,
dubbed "A Better Connection."
