FamilyNet Television has joined Cox Communications Inc.’s digital-cable lineup in Greater New Orleans as part of the operator’s “Digital Variety Package,” the network said Friday.
Communities that now receive the faith-based network, in addition to New Orleans, include Kenner, Metairie, Boutte, Destrehan, Gretna, Hahnville, Jean Lafitte, Luling, Montz, Norco, St. Rose and Westwego.
“Launching FamilyNet demonstrated Cox’s commitment to meeting the spiritual needs of all of our New Orleans customers at a critical time in the city’s history,” Cox New Orleans vice president of marketing Ellen Lloyd said in a prepared statement.
