Cox Communications Inc. said it came in first for the second consecutive year in J.D. Power and Associates’ residential local-telephone customer-satisfaction survey for the Western United States.
Cox also said J.D. Power ranked it highest in customer satisfaction for its nationwide 2004 residential long-distance telephone-service poll.
The local-phone service survey rated customer service, billing, performance and reliability, company image, cost of service and offerings and promotions.
Cox said it scored 50 points higher than its closest competitor.
