Crown Media Holdings Inc. named Paul FitzPatrick executive vice president and
chief operating officer Wednesday.
Most recently COO of Crown Media United States LLC, which operates Hallmark
Channel, FitzPatrick replaces Lana Corbi, who was named president and CEO of
Crown U.S. last month.
In his new role, FitzPatrick is charged with the development and creation of
new channels, business development, business affairs, human resources and
network-information systems worldwide on behalf of Crown Media.
FitzPatrick will also retain the responsibility as head of distribution for
Hallmark. In this capacity, he will jointly report to Crown Media president and
CEO David Evans and Corbi.
'Paul has played a major role in leading the team that has greatly increased
Hallmark Channel's distribution throughout the United States,' Evans said in a
prepared statement. 'His contributions to the success of the Hallmark Channel
have resulted in a much stronger channel for operators, advertisers and viewers.
I look forward to working with him on a more global level as we continue to
build a robust cable network throughout the world.'
