CSG, Charter Extend, Streamline Customer Care and Billing Deal

CSG Systems International said it has expanded and extended its billing and customer care deal with Charter Communications through Dec. 31, 2021, while also factoring in Charter’s acquisitions of Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks, which closed last May.

The new deal, which broadens the timeframe by four years, also extends and streamlines CSG’s existing billing and customer care agreements with TWC and BHN into a single Charter contract.

Tied in, Charter will also deploy CSG Workforce Express for field service management, scheduling, dispatch, automation and mobile technician support.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

“Charter continues to expand its award-winning Spectrum brand by rapidly bringing innovative, consumer friendly solutions to market,” said Mike Ciszek, SVP, billing strategy and operations for Charter, in a statement. “Charter has successfully partnered with CSG for more than 20 years in our pursuit of delivering an exceptional customer experience to our consumers and we are pleased to extend and expand our relationship.”

AT&T, Comcast, Dish Network, ESPN, Orange, and Verizon are among other key CSG partners in the sector.
