This year’s theme for the popular “Positively Broadband” benefit for Cable Positive in Denver is “CSI Broadband.”
The Nov. 10 fund-raiser, at The Cable Center, will once again feature song parodies performed by cable-industry executives, abetted by professional troupe Rave Reviews. Song topics will include “high-definition fiber-optic residue in Colorado, competitive ballistics reports in California and Verizon fingerprints all over the place,” organizers said Tuesday.
In its 11th year, Positively Broadband raised more than $144,000 last year through sponsorships, donations and silent-auction sales, and the event has raised more than $600,000 over time.
Proceeds support the national efforts of Cable Positive, as well as Denver HIV/AIDS-support organizations Rainbow House and Mi Casa.
More information about sponsorships and silent-auction contributions can be found on Cable Positive’s Web site (www.cablepositive.org).
