Following Monday night’s return of the National Football League to New Orleans, CSTV will broadcast the first post-Hurricane Katrina college-football game played in the New Orleans Superdome.
The game -- Tulane hosting SMU -- airs Saturday at 7:30 pm (EST).
During the game, CSTV’s Fields & Dreams Foundation will present a check for $109,175 to the NFL YET Boys & Girls Club of Southeast Louisiana. The money was raised during The Big Game for the Big Easy, the first Tulane game after Katrina in Shreveport, La.
The broadcast will also include interviews with Tulane president Scott Cowen and athletic director Rick Dickson, as well as segments on the transformation of the Superdome back into a football stadium and Tulane’s last game at the Superdome Dec. 4, 2004.
Saturday’s game will be announced by Carter Blackburn and analyst Brian Jones.
