College Sports Television continues to firm up its programming through a deal with CBS Sports for rights to championships in six collegiate sports.
As part of the agreement, CSTV will present the first-ever live telecasts of the National Collegiate Athletic Association championships in Division I women’s ice hockey; Division I, II and III women’s lacrosse; Division I and II men’s lacrosse; and Division I field hockey and men’s and women’s water polo.
CSTV CEO Brian Bedol wouldn’t disclose deal terms except to say that there were cross-promotional elements both ways. CBS officials didn’t return calls by press time.
