CSTV Inks Comcast Carriage Deal


College Sports Television has reached a carriage agreement with No. 1 MSO Comcast Corp., the network said Thursday.

Under terms of the deal, the MSO can launch the network nationwide, as well as making CSTV fare available on a video-on-demand basis.

“We will work closely with Comcast systems to create customized opportunities, taking advantage of our unique relationships with hundreds of local colleges and universities nationwide and our growing roster of sponsors and advertisers,” CSTV CEO Brian Bedol said in a prepared statement.
