CSTV, NHL Net Lace Up Their Skates

Canada’s NHL Network will drop the puck on NCAA Division 1 hockey coverage Nov. 8 via a deal with College Sports Television.

Under the pact, terms of which were not disclosed, NHL Network will air more than 10 college-hockey contests, produced by CSTV, Saturdays at 1 p.m. EST throughout the regular season, beginning with the University of New Hampshire vs. Boston University Nov. 8.

Among the featured skating squads: 2003 NCAA men’s champion Minnesota State, as well as "Frozen Four" finalists Michigan, New Hampshire and Cornell.

NHL Network's NCAA hockey coverage will feature a total of 91 Canadian-born players from 14 teams.
