College Sports Television and Nike Inc. late Friday announced a multifaceted programming, marketing and advertising partnership that will include video-on-demand, broadband and retail components.
As part of the deal, terms of which were not disclosed, Nike will sponsor and help to develop NikeTraining Camp
, a sports-instructional series to air on CSTV, featuring top coaches from across various college sports, the network said.
CSTV will have some of its programming incorporated into Nike’s Football Rivalry Series
, which features a Nike mobile unit proffering company products on location at select college-football games.
The CSTV-Nike partnership will also create joint marketing programs meant to boost in-store traffic for Nike products and drive digital cable and VOD distribution, CSTV said.
