The Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing revealed the theme for its 2005 CTAM Research Conference Monday.
“One Step Closer ..." will be held Jan. 26-28 at the Sonesta Beach Resort in Key Biscayne, Fla., CTAM said.
Keynote speakers will include Robert W. Pittman, member of Pilot Group LLC and former president and chief operating officer of America Online Inc.; and Mo Rocca, former correspondent for Comedy Central's The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and current contributor to NBC's Today and host of Bravo's Things I Hate About You.
"We have a lot of firsts this year," CTAM vice president of research Clay Collier said in a prepared statement.
"We're conducting focus groups and in-home interviews prior to the conference to bring consumer insights firsthand to the conference sessions; we've added two concurrent tracks, digging deeper into new-product development and innovations in audience measurement; we're bringing Harvard to Florida through a Harvard Business School case-study tutorial; and we've changed the schedule to run Wednesday-Friday, eliminating weekend travel," he added.
