This being CTAM and Boston there are no shortage of things to do for attendees in The Hub.
For those arriving early, the defending National Basketball Association champion Boston Celtics host the Milwaukee Bucks on Nov. 7 at TD Banknorth Garden at 7:30 p.m.. The following night the National Hockey League Boston Bruins will entertain the Buffalo Sabres at 7 p.m. in the same venue. Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and the rest of the Cs play the Toronto Raptors on Nov. 10 at 7:30 p.m. (For more CTAM Summit '08 coverage, click here.)
Classic eateries aside, like the Union Oyster House, which claims to be the nation’s oldest restaurant, Beantown also serves top-notch fare at the likes of Digalle (French), Mooo (steaks), Top of the Hub (American) and Stella (Italian). Click here for a list of Boston’s top 100 restaurants.
CTAM Summit ’08 also proffers plenty of entertainment options, beginning with comedy troupe The Whitest Kids U Know at the Marks Award Show on Nov. 9 from 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
An hour later Summit-goers can get a sneak preview of the latest 007 action, courtsey of co-sponsors MGM HD and Studio 3 Partners. Attendees can check out Daniel Craig in the Quantum of Solace at the AMC Boston Commons 19, 175 Tremont Street. Get there early with your conference badge: seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Later that night, Fuse is sponsoring a party, hosted by rapper and actor LL Cool J at The Roxy, 279 Tremont Street, from 9 p.m. to midnight.
On Nov. 10, there’s the chairman’s reception from 5: 30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the grand ballroom in the Sheraton Hotel.
The Monday party, sponsored by Event Networks Inc., will feature Grammy-winner Ziggy Marley performing at the Wang Theatre, 270 Tremont Street. The gig is from 9 p.m. to midnight.
