Video on demand services continue to evolve with subscribers expecting and demanding access to more and more content.
Finding ways to meet and stay ahead of that increasing push for content and getting the message out about what is available on the advance platform are among the topics that will be discussed during the latest installment of the B&C/Multichannel News Television Industry Leadership Series, "Success Strategies for Marketing VOD."
Moderated by Multichannel News editor in chief Mark Robichaux, the breakfast panel discussion will be held on Oct. 19 from 7 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. (CT) at CTAM Summit 2010 in New Orleans.
The panelists are Kim Mills, senior director of relationship marketing at Time Warner Cable; Bob Nocera, director of new video services at Cox Communications; David Purdy, vice president and general manager of Rogers Communications; Doug Sylvester, chief strategy officer of Avail-TVN; and Jan Diedrichsen, senior vice president of affiliate sales at Rainbow Network Sales.
Among the topics on the table: ways to promote VOD programming that attracts the most viewers; means to encourage the use of interactive services; measuring the on-demand audience; and different strategies for prompting the repeat use of VOD.
