The Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketed has nominated five campaigns for possible induction into its 2012 Hall of Fame class.
Recognizing the cable industry's most influential makreting efforts, the CTAM Hall of Fame has nominated the following quintet of efforts:
* AMC: Mad Men Marketing
* Comcast: The Slowskys
* Disney Channel: High School Musical Marketing
* ESPN: Marketing of Monday Night Football
* USA: Characters Welcome Brand
The CTAM Hall of FameCommittee chooses the slate of nominees, and is chaired by 2011 inductee, Don Buckley, executive vice president, program marketing, digital services, media and promotions at Showtime Networks, Inc. A group of 25 marketing leaders will vote on the inductee, which will be announced in a special ceremony during The CTAM Summit, Oct.14-16 in Orlando.
Since its inception in 1997, the CTAM Hall of Fame has honored campaigns that epitomize marketing creativity and success. Qualifying work must have been launched a minimum of five years prior to the date of induction, and must demonstrate a powerful and lasting impact on the nominated company, or the cable industry.
