The Cable and Telecommunications Human Resources Association has added another keynote speaker for its “Putting the Best to Work Symposium” June 8 in Los Angeles.
Author Carol Orsborn will discuss her work in the fields of intrinsic motivation and how to face workplace challenges, as well as her book, The Art of Resilience.
She joins fellow keynote speaker Sir Ken Robinson, senior advisor to the president of the J. Paul Getty Trust in Los Angeles and an internationally recognized expert in business creativity.
The symposium will also feature a panel of MSO executives on such topics as facilitating cultural change and managing in times of intense innovation.
Panelists are: Eric Brown, senior vice president of Western division operations, Charter Communications Inc.; Marwan Fawaz, chief technical officer, Adelphia Communications Corp.; Roger Keating, California division president, Time Warner Cable; and Debi Picciolo, senior VP, Southern California region, Comcast Corp.
The symposium will be held at the Sheraton Universal Hotel.
