Current TV announced several new hires Thursday.
Andrew Struse has joined the network as senior vice president, on-air promotion/creative services. He had been VP, on-air creative for VH1.
Patrick Newall has come aboard as director of production. Newall had been an independent producer and writer.
Adam Yamaguchi is a new writer/producer/correspondent for Current. He has worked with Fox Sports, Cable News Network and TV Asahi Japan.
Another new writer/producer/correspondent, Joe Hanson, became Current’s first viewer-created-content producer to be promoted.
Jeff Clark has joined the network as creative-services producer. Clark has been running his own music-video-production company since 1987.
And independent hip-hop artist Murshas joined Current as host/producer.
