D.C. Congratulates Starks on Pick for FCC Dem Seat

Reaction was steadily building Monday to the Trump Administration's intent to nominate FCC Enforcement Bureau official Geoffrey Starks to the Democratic FCC seat being vacated by Commissioner Mignon Clyburn.“I want to extend my congratulations to Geoffrey Starks on his nomination by the White House to serve on the Commission," said FCC Republican Commissioner Brendan Carr. "Mr. Starks’ career evidences a longstanding commitment to public service, including at both the Department of Justice and as a staffer in the FCC’s Enforcement Bureau.
