Showtime Networks is teaming up with top porn producer Vivid Entertainment on a reality series based on the remake of adult-film classic Debbie Does Dallas.
The seven-part documentary series, Debbie DoesDallas… Again, premiered on Showtime Friday at 11 p.m. (EST/PST). It was produced by World of Wonder Productions, which has produced programs previously for Playboy TV, TV Land, Sundance Channel and Showtime.
Vivid plans to release Debbie DoesDallas… Again on DVD April 18. The film stars “Vivid Girls” Sunny Leone, Cassidey, Savanna Samson and Lacie Heart.
Vivid also launched a Web site that contains behind-the-scenes footage from the movie and scenes from the Showtime series.
Nielsen Media Research ratings weren’t available Monday for Friday’s premiere of the series.
