In Demand, Nat Geo Tap Marketers

Pay-per-view and video-on-demand content provider In Demand L.L.C. has named
20-year home-entertainment veteran Sergei Kuharsky as its new senior vice
president of marketing, and National Geographic Channel has named Stephanie
Fleming senior vice president of marketing and new media.

Kuharsky said in a phone interview that research shows that VOD provides the
ultimate in-home entertainment experience. 'Our challenge is to position this as
something so innovative that people are once again chasing the cable trucks,' he
added.

Most recently, he was senior vice president of marketing for video-technology
start-up Now Showing Entertainment. Before that, Kuharsky was senior vice
president of brand, franchises and movies marketing for Nickelodeon.

Fleming's responsibilities in her new job will include ad sales, consumer
marketing and affiliate relations.

Fleming's prior cable experience includes positions as vice president of
marketing at Road Runner High Speed Online and director of marketing and new
media at GoodLife Television Network. She was also a senior product manager at
Bell Atlantic Video Inc.
