In Demand To Offer Three-Hour Mayweather-Ortiz Countdown Show

In Demand will offer boxing fans ordering Saturday's Floyd Mayweather-Victor Ortiz pay-per-view fight a three-hour countdown show prior to the live event's 9 p.m. premiere.
The unprecedented offering, dubbed "Star Power," will provide fans that have already paid the suggested $54.95 retail price access to full-length episodes of HBO's 24/7 Mayweather/Ortiz documentary series; classic fights from both fighters; the fighters' weigh-in event; and a 30-minute preview of the main event, according to In Demand officials.

In Demand is already offering free Mayweather-Ortiz related content via on-demand, including behind the scenes of their press tour, the preview show and weigh-in.

In Demand's announcement follows on the heels of HBO's move earlier this week to schedule a six-hour, boxing-themed programming block on its HBO Zone channel the day of the fight.
