In Demand Sets PPV Affiliate Campaign


Cable pay-per-view movie network In Demand L.L.C. announced plans Wednesday
for its winter 'Mega Movies' marketing campaign.

In Demand will sponsor a consumer sweepstakes offering the chance to win a
state-of-the-art home-entertainment 'iNvironment.'

Consumers who order one of the select top movie hits during January have a
chance to win a custom-designed home theater -- including audio/video equipment
and furniture -- developed by an architect specializing in electronics and
interior design.

In addition, the sweepstakes will award one year of free digital cable to 20
other entrants.

Among the titles promoted during the month-long campaign are Shrek,
Rush Hour 2, Pearl Harbor, Jurassic Park III, Planet of
the Apes
, America's Sweethearts and Lara Croft: Tomb

In Demand is encouraging affiliates to back the campaign with television
spots and direct mail. One mailer asks new digital cable customers to try a
movie for 99 cents.
