Devereux Joins DH Capital

New York-based private-investment banker DH Capital LLC has hired Townsend Devereux as a principal of the company.

Devereux had been senior vice president at New York-based investment banker Waller Capital Corp., responsible for providing merger-and-acquisitions, capital-raising and financial-advisory services to the cable-television, media and telecommunications sectors.

His duties will be similar at DH.

"I have been associated with Townsend for nearly 10 years, and I am thrilled that he has joined the firm," DH cofounder and principal Joe Duggan said in a prepared statement. "Townsend’s relationships in the media/telecom industry and the financial community are very valuable to our firm."

Devereux’s appointment increases DH’s employees to five. Other principals in the firm are Duggan, Mark Thorsheim, cofounder Peter Hopper and Dean Mann.
