President, Comcast-Sony Networks

WHY WE’RE WATCHING: The MTV Networks programmer made the move from New York to Philadelphia last July as president of Comcast-Sony Networks, sprung from 2004’s Sony Corp.-led $4.9 billion acquisition of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc. Focus group work is being conducted on the first channel that will emanate from the joint venture.

HIGH 05s: “My 2005 professional accomplishments were really split into two parts. First, I was extraordinarily proud to have been part of the creative team that launched MTV Networks newest brand Logo. That collaboration was the fifth brand I helped launch for MTV Networks in my 17 years there. The second was coming to Comcast to create the 360 brand that serves a distinct audience, wherever they are and on whatever devise they are using. Personal achievement: Teaching my daughter to drive!”

PICKS IN 06: “This year we are going to continue to build a solid, meaningful brand for both VOD and Comcast.net, and see a true convergence across product lines. With the emergence of technology that has been talked about for the past 10 years, Comcast is in a premier position to deliver customers the content they want, when and how they want it — whether through the TV, broadband or on a wireless device.”

MY TIME: “I am a wife and a mother of two teen-age daughters who keep me engaged, challenged and loved every day. It is a unique experience to hear about the trials, tribulations and jubilation of high school and middle school again. This time around, I am smarter and wiser and hopefully a good guide for them.”
