DirecTV Now, AT&T’s OTT TV service, has introduced a new streaming package, Todo y Más, that features a blend of more than 50 Spanish-language channels and more than 40 English channels for $45 per month.
For subs on the current English-language plan for DirecTV Now, they also have the option to add DirecTV Now Español (which includes nets such as Azteca, ESPN Deportes, Fox Deportes, Canal Once, Cine Sony, Universo, CNN En Español, among others) for an additional $10 per month, or DirecTV Now Deportes, a smaller package of channels, for an additional $5 per month.
Todo y Más will also provide access to new features and enhancements recently added to DirecTV Now, including a cloud DVR beta that offers up to 20 hours of recording time of shows on supported channels, with the caveat that recordings expire after 30 days.
The new packages give DirecTV Now an option that’s more tailored for U.S. homes with Spanish speakers and a service that can compete with Spanish-focused packages from other OTT services such as Sling TV and fuboTV.
AT&T added 312,000 DirecTV Now subs in Q1, ending the period with 1.46 million.
